Everest server license does not activate

Overview

You have cloned your primary server to be used as a backup server and trying to apply for a license on that server. However, the license does not activate.

Solution

It has been observed that applying a different license on a server in the same LAN may fail. The solution is to copy the MAC address from the main server to the backup server in the event of an outage.
